Training: The Emerge Programs

Training: The Emerge Programs

The barriers to entry into the political scene can seem pretty darn imposing to the average citizen, but in a state that has never elected its fair share of women, those barriers can look even more foreboding. Emerge Maryland lowers those barriers and levels the playing field by de-mystifying the process of getting engaged, and connecting women to the knowledge and resources needed to win.

Emerge Maryland is now offering two opportunities for Democratic women in Maryland to find their path to political leadership.

A Taste of Emerge Summer one day workshops

This summer offering is a one-day training which includes workshops designed to show you how to lay the foundation and get a head start on your path to political leadership.
The workshops will help you navigate your local political landscape, grow and solidify your networks, help you to determine your goals and show you how to lay the groundwork for a future run for office. They will also help you to prepare for our full 70-hour candidate training program.
Join other like-minded women from all over Maryland who may be starting down similar paths in their area.

These events will be offered in June, July, August and Sept..
The training includes all of the information you need to know on how to become a leader in your community and what it takes to plan for a future run for office.
Each "Taste of Emerge Maryland"
